Jamar Manners, aka Gutter, who has been charged federally for possession of a firearm by a felon, has violated the terms of his probation twice after serving time in federal prison, said officials with the FBI New York.
The FBI Westchester County Safe Streets Task Force, Yonkers Police Department, and U.S. Marshals Service have been searching for Manners, who was once the leader of the Elm Street Wolves, a violent street gang in Yonkers.
Agents say Manners, 30, should be considered armed and "extremely dangerous."
While searching for Manners for his second probation violation, agents spotted him on Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the area near Alder Street, between Spruce and Elm Streets, the FBI said.
He jumped from the car he was driving and ran away, agents said.
Agents recovered a loaded gun in the car.
When spotted, Manners was wearing a dark sweatshirt and a black and purple hat. He is described as being 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds.
He is known to have ties to Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and South Carolina.
To help locate Manners, the FBI New York is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads his arrest.
